18 Words Puzzle Archive
Every past daily challenge is saved here. Each puzzle can be played once — tap the date in the game's welcome screen to access archive puzzles.
How to access the archive
- Open the game on the home page.
- On the welcome screen, tap the date shown below the title (e.g. "#27 | 11 Jul 2026").
- The archive panel opens, listing every past puzzle with your score (or "Not played" if you haven't done it yet).
- Tap any unplayed puzzle to start it. Completed puzzles show your score and cannot be replayed.
Archive rules
- Each puzzle can only be played once, regardless of when it was released.
- Completing an archive puzzle saves your score locally in your browser.
- Archive scores are not included in the daily percentile ranking — only same-day scores count.
- Puzzles go back to Day 1 (June 15, 2026).
The archive is accessible from the welcome screen inside the game.
Archive FAQ
How far back does the archive go?
The archive includes every daily puzzle from Day 1 (June 15, 2026) to the current day. New puzzles are added automatically each day.
Can I replay a puzzle I already completed?
No. Each puzzle can only be played once. Completed puzzles show your score in the archive list but cannot be started again.
Does the archive remember my scores?
Yes. All scores are saved in your browser's localStorage. They persist between sessions on the same device and browser. Clearing your browser data will erase your history.
Do archive puzzle scores count toward my daily streak?
No. Only puzzles played on their actual release day count toward the streak. Archive completions are saved but don't affect the streak count.
